Chambers Rosewood Vineyard Winery

Chambers are famous in the Rutherglen region as 6th Generation Winemakers producing a wide range of wines, including their world-renowned fortified wines.

They came to us requiring a complete overhaul to their current digital offering, which included a new website, stock/inventory management, POS (point of sale) and integration with their accounting system.

There were a lot of unknowns and assumptions about what was required, so the best way to ensure a great result was to work on a 90 Day plan where we could look at all aspects of the business. This was an agile approach and meant that when variables changed, we could change with them. We weren’t locked into a specific way of doing things, and when new and more efficient ways to do things presented themselves throughout the project, we were able to adapt quickly which ensured a better end result.

We needed an Ecommerce system that could handle all the requirements of selling wine online and also, importantly, was easy to update by the staff at Chambers.

Squarespace isn’t suitable for sites that have more than 50 products or have multiple warehouses or complex shipping rules. For Chambers, it was the perfect choice as what it lacks in features, it makes up in simplicity. Adding and editing products is straightforward and simple. The order system is seamless and easy and can be managed on a computer or phone/tablet.

The 90 Day plan included reporting every week and was a good way to streamline the website production.

The new site has been well received by Chambers loyal customers and using a survey on the checkout page, we have been able to gather suggestions and feedback to keep refining and making the online experience better.
